This is one for all the long-time fans of FairyGothMother who loved our Camden shop when it first opened - we’ll be attending the Alternative Bring and Buy Sale next Sunday (6th December) with an enormous mountain of goth, fetish and cyber dresses, skirts, capes, gowns and even a few menswear items, all in aid of charity. We’re hoping to donate the proceeds to the mental health charity, MIND, which provides support and information on mental health.
The Alternative Bring and Buy sale ( http://www.alternativebringnbuy.co.uk ) is “a small and friendly alternative market", where you can buy everything from clothes, shoes and accessories to records, knick-knacks and beautiful hand-made items, and will be held at The Dome (upstairs at the Music Box) in Tufnell Park, which is right next to the Northern Line tube station. It’s only 50p to get in, which allows you as much time as you like between 11am and 5pm to browse and pick up something cheap and cheerful.
Prices will start at around £2 (yes, £2!) so come visit our stand, grab yourself a massive bargain and do your good deed for the day at the same time. Look forward to seeing you there!

| Last Chance for Christmas/NYE orders! |

Christmas is drawing closer which means we've been feeling rather elf-like (or should that be elfin, or the slightly-too-Lord-of-the-Rings-for-comfort, 'elvish'?) from frantically wrapping all your lovely gifts to ensure they reach you on time! Our shop appears to have morphed into Santa's workshop with tissue paper and ribbon strewn everywhere, and our poor postman really looks like Santa carrying all our sacks of goodies off to be delivered - it's just a shame he loads them all into his van, although being red, doesn't quite have Rudolph's festive appeal!
There is still time to place a last-minute order as our last postal collection for the UK will be on the morning of Monday the 22nd, and as we send all our items by Special Delivery they should reach you just in time for you to sneak them under the Christmas tree without anyone noticing.

Why not treat yourself or your partner to a sexy Santa Baby outfit to really get into the spirit of things? Here are a few suggestions:
  
Here we have the brand new red firm-control girdle by Seduce, proving that shapewear can be sexy! It features a white bow on the front, contrast stitching and six white suspender clips, which would go perfectly with white stockings, red patent leather heels, and perhaps some cheeky nipple tassles and a Santa hat... Or how about the flirty red silk Santa dress from Modern Courtesan, or Lulu and Lush own-label red satin knickers with heart tulle frills at the back, and matching shrug?

| Press Party and Customer Tea Party in September! |

Here are a few pictures (including a sneak preview of our new purple taffeta underbust!) from the press party we hosted yesterday afternoon. Alongside Kiss Me Deadly and Playful Promises, we held a tea party at the palatial 33 Portland Place, which is one of the most wonderfully elegant houses in London. Built in 1775 and bedecked with chandeliers and period features, it is well known as an exclusive party venue for celebrities and the glitterati. As such, we thought it would be the perfect venue to showcase the new additions to our Lulu and Lush label.
We invited members of the press to be spoiled with mouthwatering iced fairy cakes provided by The Great Cake Escape and delicious teas and coffee served in exquisite china by the charming girls from Betty Blythe, be entertained by Two to Tease's tantalising burlesque performance, browse through our new collection and have fun customising their own corsets and lingerie with crystals and trims.
Everyone enjoyed themselves so much we thought it wouldn't be fair for our lovely customers to have to miss out on all the fun, so we'll be opening our doors on Friday the 12th and Saturday the 13th of September for a very special '50s-themed tea party just for our customers.
Come and indulge yourself in delicious cakes and teas, and help us crack open the bubbly to celebrate the second anniversary of us opening our beautiful Spitalfields boutique. Please keep the dates free as we really hope you are able to join us - we will post more details soon!

Here are some new pics of the glamorous Fleur de Guerre by photographer HarjTT, who will be shooting our new collection next week:
First up, the fabulous overbust corset in black taffeta with cream ribbon trims by Miss Katie avialable in black or burgundy taffeta, shown here with our best-selling frilly knickers.
This shoot featured two of our most popular basic overbust corset styles, the first of which is pictured in Event Blue brocade and is available in a wide range of plain satins, dupion silks, taffetas, brocades and leather. The second is our own-brand basic overbust corset, currently available in black or ivory satin, or daisy, jade and burgundy silk brocades, pictured here with a bustle for a classic Burlesque outfit.
Also pictured here is a Sally Jones negligee and knickers set which is currently unavailable to purchase online, please email us for stock levels as we still have a few sets remaining in our shop.
We're shooting the new collection on Monday, so check back here next week for more lovely photos, as well as next month for the second part of our new collection, photographed as usual by the lovely Morgana :)

Hello Lovelies!
As you already know, we are closing our Camden branch tomorrow, and as such, we suddenly have more stock than we know what to do with, including lots of one-offs made especially for photoshoots and catwalk shows, as well as lots of samples.
So if you've attended one of our shows and fallen in love with one of the amazing outfits, or popped into the Camden shop recently and one of our corsets taken your fancy but was just that bit too expensive, have a look at the new items we've added to our already quite epic sale. We have some truly beautiful and unique pieces you won't find anywhere else, including an absolutely breathtaking purple patent leather corset dress by Puimond, reduced from £1200 to £450!

We posted this yesterday on our blog but for those of you who missed out, here it is again:
Good morning, corset kittens! Summer is almost upon us and here at FairyGothMother we have many corsety delights in store for you. It's time to shed those winter layers of clothing and dare to bare in our glamourous and cheeky new underwear, available in our trademark luscious silks and satins.
